FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
Local Oscillators: 60 mc below transmitter and
beacon frequencies
The AN/APS-31A is a radio detection and ranging
Power Output: 52 kw rain
equipment designed for installation in larger aircraft for
Pulse Width: 0.5, 2.25, and 4.5 sec
use in locating objects of military significance. It has a
range of 200 yd to 200 naut mi, provision for connection
Pulse Repetition Rate: 800, 400, and 200 pps
of IFF equipment and bombing computers, 5TD or 30TD
Operating Voltages: 115v, 380 to 1,600 cps, 1-ph;
target discrimination operations, an altitude delay
27.5 vdc
