FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The Radar Set AN/SPS-41 is designed as a surface
yards to 32 nautical miles. The PPI screen is a 10 inch
search radar which provides a Plan Position Indicator
diameter cathode ray tube. Range rings and a variable
(PPI) type display of shorelines, buoys, ships, and such
marker enables precise range determination of targets
