The malfunction/symptom index (Table 10-1) is a quick reference index for finding troubleshooting
procedures.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
The troubleshooting work packages list the symptoms, malfunctions, and corrective actions required to return
the Test Set to normal operation. Perform the steps in the order they appear. Before performing any
troubleshooting, perform a detailed visual inspection to check for obvious physical damage or abuse that
could contribute to the problem.
If a malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify the next higher level
maintenance.
